Happy gas or Nitrous oxide can be used to help children have a pleasant time during dental treatment. We use a very low dose and it is very safe to use. On rare occasions children feel slightly nauseous or can have a mild head ache after treatment. Happy gas is usually tolerated very well by children and can be a very useful tool to help children relax if they do feel slightly anxious.
